Tandem Skydiving?

For those individuals out there that aren\'t very knowledgeable when it comes to skydiving, there is only one way to get you to jump out of an airplane and that is to strap you into a parachute and then close your eyes and dive right into the wide unknown. However, rest assured, this is not necessarily the case. In fact, there are several different techniques used for skydiving which includes tandem sky diving - this is popular with beginners and individuals that simply want to experience the thrill that skydiving provides.

Overall, the tandem skydiving method is very safe and easy. The inexperienced individual will be securely strapped to a professional or experienced skydiver. This particular method is currently being used as a teaching method by the skydiving instructors that are teaching individuals to skydive. This method of skydiving will give you the ability to freefall at very high speeds which normally reach up to one hundred and twenty miles an hour. Even though this particular method of sky diving doesn\'t require a skill, it is surely going to require a lot of nerve.

Before actually making the dive, the individual will be instructed with information that pertains to the actual exit on the aircraft, the ripcord pulling and the tandem parachute. The only main requirements are appropriate and comfortable clothing and shoes. At the skydiving location, you will be given a jumpsuit, altimeter and goggles. You will also be supplied with a harness which is normally used to secure the person to the instructor or experienced sky diver.

Even though there aren\'t really any real requirements for this method of skydiving, there are a couple of guidelines that pertain to age, health and weight. In order to be able to skydive, you have to be eighteen years of age and if you weigh more than two hundred pounds, there may be some restrictions made. Before you are scheduled to skydive practicing this method, you need to make sure that you are in complete good physical health. If you are taking prescription medications, you are going to need to check with your doctor in reference to the side effects and tandem method of skydiving. Before you make any plans for your getaway to your desired dropzone, it is imperative that you have taken care of all of the requirements that need to be met.

Above all else, enjoy yourself and remember that you only have one life to live - if you spend it doing nothing, you won\'t be able to enjoy all of the fun and exiting things in life. Yes, there are some risks that are associated with skydiving but they are, let\'s face it, rare and anything that you do in life has some type of risk associated with it. Now is your time to live your life to the fullest.
